A photo, the working, then your next step

The first scan should answer two questions: what can this photo measure, and what can you realistically do with that information?

1. Take or attach a front photo. Use even light, a level camera and a relaxed expression. Measurement runs in your browser, not on an uploaded front photo. See the photo guide.
2. Add a side photo, or skip it. Turn 90 degrees with your head level. A side photo adds projection and profile angles. Front-only analysis does not fill missing side measurements with guesses.
3. Review the side points if you added that view. With cloud-placement consent, an automatic pass helps place thirteen points. You can use them, place them yourself, retake the photo or skip the side. When automatic placement is unavailable, an on-device starting layout is available.
4. Create an account to open the result. Use email and password, or continue with Google. Your first result does not require a subscription. The scan is kept on the same browser while you sign in so you can return to the analysis. Personal details belong in the later pathway quiz, with optional height and weight for adults.
5. Read the measurements, not only the total. A score out of ten and a reference percentile are different quantities. Paid depth adds the detailed regions and measurements. Missing or unreliable readings should not be treated as zero.
6. Choose a practical next step. Adult Max members can build a plan with Coach Max. Presentation, grooming and habits are different from changing bone structure. No preview is a guaranteed future face.

What each view contributes

Three separate upload choices

The front measurement engine runs on-device. Scan history and its photos stay in this browser. Optional cloud side-point placement, optional side-point feedback and optional Goal previews are separate features with separate consent.

1. Side placement: a reduced side photo goes through TrueMax to Anthropic for the placement request. TrueMax does not store that source photo. Anthropic normally deletes commercial API inputs and outputs within 30 days, subject to its stated exceptions.
2. Placement feedback: with separate consent, the side photo and reviewed positions are retained by TrueMax for up to 90 days to improve placement. You can decline without changing the score.
3. Goal preview: signed-in adult Max members can separately consent to send the selected front photo and optional side photo to the named provider. TrueMax does not store the source photos for this request. Generated previews expire after 30 days, or up to a year when explicitly kept. OpenAI may retain abuse-monitoring data for up to 30 days; Higgsfield applies its own commercial terms and the integration cannot delete its provider upload.

Read the full privacy policy for exceptions, processors and deletion controls. Declining cloud placement leaves an on-device route; declining previews does not stop the analysis.

What this process does not establish

A phone photograph is not a clinical examination or a three-dimensional skeletal scan. It cannot diagnose acne, rosacea, eczema, body-fat percentage or other health conditions. Small rescan differences may be camera noise. The methodology separates research, product calibration and unresolved validation.
